Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis?

No. Many clients begin coaching while they are still exploring a diagnosis, waiting for an assessment, or self-identifying based on lived experience. Coaching can support you at any stage of that process.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is not therapy or clinical treatment. It is a practical, forward-looking partnership focused on understanding your patterns and making sustainable changes. If therapeutic support would be more appropriate, this will be discussed openly with you.

What happens in a discovery call?

A short, no-pressure conversation to talk through what is bringing you to coaching, answer any questions you have, and work out together whether it feels like the right fit before committing to anything.

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients begin with a six session package, which gives enough time to build understanding and see real change. Some choose to continue beyond this; others find six sessions is enough for now.

Can my employer pay for coaching?

Often, yes. Many organisations fund coaching through learning and development, wellbeing, occupational health or reasonable adjustment budgets. The For Your Employer page has a shareable resource to help start that conversation.

Can I share information with my manager or HR?

That is entirely your choice. Coaching is confidential. What you choose to share with your employer, if anything, is led by you, not by me.

Is coaching online?

Yes. All coaching is delivered online, which allows sessions to fit around work, childcare and daily life without adding travel time to your day.

Do you work with organisations?

Yes. Alongside private coaching, I work with employers on manager and HR support, and deliver organisational workshops on ADHD, late diagnosis and neuroinclusion.
